41 to 49 Days
What a fun week + this has been. The kids got to meet their first "stranger" this past week and they all pretty much just ignored him... Silly puppies! The past few days have held many challenges for the kids... Since they are 7 weeks old now and I saw no hope of "Vala" weaning them herself, I decided to intervene. The puppies are handling the separation much better than "Vala" is. She really is a great mom, but there comes a time for her to start letting go! They also got their first vaccination this week - "Ronon" the Big Boy was the only one who let us know his discontent of being violated with a needle. Everybody is developing nicely, they have all learned that humans can be fun - and oh yeah - the humans bring the food now :-) No pictures this week, as the camera is in Michigan with Allan and Ethan. So, I thought you might like some video. The first installment is of the morning activity - they get to run around the kitchen area while their breakfast is warming to room temp. I'm sure you will glean what fun a pack of 6 puppies can be... Enjoy!
